"The Black Hawk Hotel is a favorite of mine. Beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms. And the location on Main Street places you in the midst of a great selection of restaurants and pubs. I will definitely be back when my travels take me back to Cedar Falls. "

"We booked the 2 room suite. It was the perfect size for our group of 5. The layout was spacious and modern. Will definitely stay here again. The only downside was the staff at the bistro was limited. So please be patient and kind to them. They are working hard to take care of everything. "

"First, I want to commend the staff for friendly service. It is clear this hotel is locally owned and operated. I felt safe and cared for as a solo female traveler. I did not partake in the breakfast but it looked good and included a lot of items for a small hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. A highlight I want to include: I left a raincoat in the closet upon discharge. I called right away and they made a plan for mailing it to me, no problem at all. I would highly recommend this hotel if traveling in the area. "
